Who doesn’t love pizza and who doesn’t love pasta? This recipe combines all the flavors that you love from both in one delicious meal! Nearly everything about this recipe is flexible and optional. You can use pretty much whatever ingredients you like on your pizza mixed into these large shells. I know the amount of pepperoni listed in the recipe looks crazy, but that’s the way my husband likes it. I absolutely cannot get enough in it for him! I buy the 3 pound sacks of it from Sam’s Club.
This recipe makes quite a lot! You can just make half a recipe or better yet, just eat half and freeze half for another time. How many shells you actually use will totally depend on how much filling you put into each one. I tend to stuff quite a bit of goody into my shells, so I actually had some pieces of pasta left over.
Beef, onions, olives, bacon, ham, jalapenos, so many possibilities! What do you like in your shells?
