My mother-in-law gave me this peanut butter fudge recipe many years ago and it has been on my Christmas goody list dozens of times! It’s my husband’s all time favorite candy during the holidays!
It is a very easy recipe with just 5 ingredients. Do note that it does make a very large amount, but it does freeze beautifully. It’s great for any holiday goody plate or to give as a gift!
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 3 cups white sugar
- 1-12 ounce can evaporated milk
- 2 2/3 cups creamy peanut butter
- 14 ounces marshmallow cream
Mix sugars and evaporated milk in a heavy bottom pan.
Use a candy thermometer and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches 240 degrees.
Remove from heat.
Add peanut butter and marshmallow cream.
Mix and pour into an 11×15 inch pan or 1 9×13 plus a smaller dish.
