I’m excited about sharing this one! We couldn’t get enough of these Indian Spiced Potatoes. They were fantastic! The dish contains a perfect blend of spices. (Thank you, Skinnytaste, from whom I adapted the recipe originally.)
This is delicious and easy to make, and I always love the bright color tumeric can add to a dish. Don’t have garam masala? Check out my recipe for Quick Garam Masala. It might be easier to make than you think!
Indian Spiced Potatoes

- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala (recipe available)
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon tumeric
- Salt, to taste

In a pot of salted water, boil potatoes for about 9 minutes, until tender. Drain.
Meanwhile in a large frying pan, melt butter and cook onions until on medium-low heat until translucent.
In a small bowl, mix the spices.
Add potatoes and spice mix to the onions and saute until potatoes are evenly coated in spices and begin to crisp on the outside.
