- 1-1/2 stick butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee crystals
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 pound powdered sugar
Beat the butter until fluffy, about 20 seconds.
Add instant coffee, salt, and cream.
Add powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing thoroughly.
Decorate cake as desired then chill for an hour before serving, to allow icing to solidify.
